We hold large stocks of hammers, shanks, damper felt parts and tools and can usually provide a match for the majority of pianos. With a large workshop specialising in trade repairs we offer the following services.

Hammer boring service

We offer a bespoke hammer boring service to customer's requirements. On receipt of patterns, we weigh the hammers to suit each section and touch weight. We also offer a while you wait service by appointment.

Grand hammer pre-hanging

On receipt of the required patterns, we can hang hammers onto new shanks. This enables technicians to fit the sections directly onto actions, saving time in the restoration process.

Hammer recovering

We return hammers to the Renner factory for recovering to the highest standard available today.

We also offer a full action reconditioning service using Renner components.
